Same Sex Marriage Statutes in California (2000)
Certain states in recent history have passed same laws regarding same sex marriages or unions. Following is the current statute for the state of California
SEC.Section 308.5 is added to the Family Code,to read:
308.5 Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California. Proposition 22 (2000)
